Al Rausch appointed President of Travel Tags Inc.

INVER GROVE HEIGHTS, MN – Travel Tags, Inc. today announced the appointment of Al Rausch as president.

Mr. Rausch brings more than 20 years of industry experience to his new role and has a strong background in leadership, operations, business development and growth strategy.

GCN Education Committee Members Make History with “Gift Card 101: In Store Overview”

PORTLAND, OR  (PRWEB)

The Gift Card Network Education Committee, chaired by Powerhouse Brands and Travel Tags, has published 28 pages of designed, peer-contributed content focused on giving tips and advice to merchants looking to build a gift card program. This member-created piece is the first purely educational content contributed by a diverse group of companies within the gift card industry.

The first installation, "In Store Overview" encompasses the best way to create and merchandise fixtures, utilize promotions and signage, train field employees, minimize fraud, and create and utilize design and materials for gift cards."

The Education Committee is made up of a number of companies that offer gift card products and services who are interested in educating their community on a variety of subjects. In order to create the information for Gift Card 101, the GCN Education Committee collects member advice and opinion. They write and collaboratively edit copy, then the content is designed, produced, and published by media partner Powerhouse Brands. Future planned installations include Gift Card 101 for other gift card subjects, such as B2B, online, third party sales, and card production.
